A trip to Nainital (Click here for details)

“The beauty of nature will leave us speechless once we began travelling… but will make us story teller as we finish travelling”

Students of classes V to VIII went to Nainital, Bhimtal and Jim Corbett sanctuary to explore themselves. Journey started from Varanasi and reached Moradabad station in the morning and then towards ‘Jim Corbett Resort’. Jim Corbett national Park is a forested wild sanctuary in Uttarakhand State which is rich in flora and fauna. Many deer were spotted while travelling by safari. Next journey was towards ‘Bhimtal’ which was about 2-3 hour distance by bus. It is a lake city and is well connected by roads and is a perfect destination to visit in any month.  Students along with the teachers visited ‘Girija Temple’and ‘Koshi River’ which are the scenic areas. Boating also added a soothing environment to the enjoyment. Not only this the students enjoyed swimming too.

The journey continued towards ‘Nainital’ from ‘The Fern hills station resort’ that took only an hour. Sight from the ropeway was wonderful with a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and tourists enjoying boating. The students were very glad to get involved in shopping at the Mall road in Nainital. It was mesmerizing when students participated in Astronomical event and used professional telescope to watch the Stars, Moons and the Planets. The students enjoyed and felt proud when they got chance to launch Rocket made by them, all with waste materials which reached a height of 80 feet.

Excursion was filled with immense joy by adding luxurious hotels and resorts which filled the kids’ stomach with healthy food every day and night. It was a memorable journey for the students which ended with lots of unforgettable memories.
